Increased competitiveness through innovation

Recognizing that innovation has a greater potential to expand if among a number of companies, helping project "3D Impulse" Center for Innovation in Mechanical Engineering in Kraljevo, to better promote their services.

The project was awarded with about $ 5,000 grant for the development of an interactive Internet site for "3D Impulse" laboratory for scanning and rapid prototyping. The main purpose of the web site is to present the advantages and possible applications of technology that is used in laboratory, description of the services that it offers, and to serve as a platform to communicate with existing and potential clients.

Laboratory, using advanced design technology, provides services to metal and plastic manufacturers, from factories and industrial designers to art studies and scientific institutions. ImPulS already working with 500 small and medium enterprises from Raški, Morava and Rasinski district .

Last year IMpuls center is fully equipped by the European Union, and the project helped in the purchase of equipment for a multimedia lab for the development of new products and training in the use of new technologies. The project activity is directed to overcoming one of the main obstacles to greater competitiveness of Serbian products and producers - a lack of innovation. The project recognized the importance of the new technologies, and the need for closer cooperation between research institutions and small and medium enterprises for foster technology transfer and facilitate the commercialization of innovation.
